Joseph Kelly (21) is an exciting young keeper batsmen from Perth, Australia.
Kelly has the added benefit of holding a British Passport has represented WA 19’s at the National Championships 2 years ago, and currently plays 1st Grade cricket for Melville Cricket Club in WACA Premier Cricket.
The Aussie was awarded an inaugural scholarship to the Rod Marsh Wicket Keeping academy, which was a program founded in honour of the late Rod Marsh to provide one on one coaching to the best wicket keepers in the state. Kelly is widely regarded as one of the best keepers in the State and is hoping to break into the WA side for the Future's League.
Last year the gloveman scored nearly 500 runs at a touch over 20 and this year has a high score of 67 batting at 3. Kelly is a Level 1.5 Qualified CoachWicket Keeping coach for Rod Marsh Wicket Keeping Academy (WACA) and has Coached for Perth Cricket Academy for 4 years.
The Aussie is now keen to head to UK shores and seeking a Prem club that can keep at. He also has accom if needed in the Redhill (Surrey) area.
