Nicky Kirkwood (27) is an attacking batting all-rounder (seam) from Nottingham, England.

Kirkwood has been playing Nottinghamshire Premier League cricket for Wollaton Cricket Club since their promotion in 2018, regularly playing with against various First Class cricketers. He has an outstanding record, having scored 3748 runs at an average of 36.39 over 121 innings at an impressive strike rate of 90.73, including a 195 against Kimberley ICC which remains the fifth highest score NPL in history.

Since returning to cricket in 2025 after injury (hence the gap on play cricket), he has represented Cambridgeshire in the NCCA trophy and t20 competition, and contributed in NPL cricket with the ball, taking 13 wickets @ 20.9. The all-rounder has captaincy experience with Wollaton for two years, prior to injury, which included leading his side to the NPL t20 trophy in 2022.

The Englishman is a also a keen and qualified coach (ECB Core Coach) and happy to be part of a clubs coaching structure whilst in the Australia.
