Bedworth have moved swiftly to secure a quality overseas replacement in the form of Pakistani quick, Taj Wali, for their Warwickshire League campaign.

Wali is a domestic stalwart who has graced the Pakistani cricket circuit for well over a decade.

Since his List A debut in 2011, the left-arm quick has played over 150 matches and is approaching 400 wickets across the three formats.

Wali has been a consistent performer over the years, particularly in red-ball (Quaid-e-Azam Trophy) cricket where he’s bagged 269 wickets at 26.19.

Courtesy of his dominant exploits over the years, Wali was finally rewarded with Pakistan A inclusion during the 2018/19 season.

Over his career, Wali has taken 22 five-wicket bags and 3 ten-wicket hauls, with best figures of 7/50, and 12/121, respectively.

Wali is a class performer who played his maiden UK stint in 2022. Playing for Eppleton, he excelled in the North East Premier League (43 wickets at 15.65).

The Pakistani seamer is now set on a return this summer having signed with Bedworth for their 2024 Warwickshire County League campaign.
