Adil Amin is a Pakistani batting all-rounder who bats right-handed in the top order and bowls right-arm off-spin, and his domestic record in Pakistan reflects a long and genuinely all-round career. Across first-class cricket he has scored 4,835 runs at an average of 32.23, including six centuries and 27 half-centuries, with a highest score of 211 not out, and he has backed that up with the ball, taking 27 first-class wickets including a five-wicket haul.
In List A cricket he has been arguably even more consistent, averaging 44.37 with six centuries and 29 half-centuries from 3,994 runs, while also taking 43 wickets in the format. He has represented a wide range of sides over the course of his career, including Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar Panthers, Water and Power Development Authority, Islamabad, Sui Southern Gas Corporation and Federally Administered Tribal Areas, before a move to Bahawalpur and, most recently, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, for whom he played his latest first-class and List A cricket as recently as January 2026. With the ball he was just as influential, sending down 138.1 overs to take 24 wickets at an average of 29.21, with best figures of 4 for 18. It was an all-round season that made him one of the standout performers in club cricket in 2026.
On the back of those performances, Cannock have moved quickly to secure his services for a second term, and Adil has re-signed with the club for the 2027 season.
