Ahmad Khan

Ahmed Khan is an exciting young all-rounder currently making a strong impression in Pakistan's top-tier domestic cricket. A genuine prospect with both bat and ball, he combines sharp pace with clean, powerful stroke play — a rare blend for a 22-year-old already performing at first-class level.

He represents Abbottabad in first-class cricket, having risen through the ranks with standout junior performances, and has also turned out for Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) at first-class level. A former Pakistan Under-19 international, Ahmed featured prominently in the 2022 ICC U19 World Cup in the West Indies, following impressive displays in the 2021 Asia Cup. He has continued to develop as a genuine all-rounder, with his first-class career now standing at 15 matches, 679 runs at 27.16 (including a century and five fifties), and 8 wickets at 53.25, and continues to show great promise in red-ball cricket.

Highly rated by his current first-class captain, Khalid Usman, Ahmed is seen as a player with the right attitude, skillset, and work ethic to succeed as a club professional. Dedicated and driven, he is firmly focused on reaching the highest level of the game.

In 2025, he made an immediate impact in the UK during his maiden stint with Oakamoor CC and was swiftly re-signed by the club for their 2026 North Staffs South Cheshire League campaign. Over those two seasons he has scored 1,859 runs at 45.34, including a highest score of 123 not out, four centuries and ten fifties, while his seam bowling has brought him 72 wickets at 20.57 with a best of 5/26. Such was the strength of his performances, the club have signed Ahmad for a third season in 2027.
