Archie Davis is an accomplished all-round cricketer and the current captain of Tiddington Cricket Club. He began his cricketing journey at Aston Rowant Cricket Club, where he developed through the junior ranks before stepping into Division One cricket at just 15 years old, playing a key role in securing the league title.
Following his success at Aston Rowant, Davis moved to Tiddington Cricket Club, where he has captained the side for the past four seasons. Widely recognised for his leadership, competitiveness, and consistency as an all-rounder, he enjoyed an exceptional campaign last season, finishing as the league’s leading wicket-taker with 44 wickets while also scoring more than 500 runs at an impressive batting average of 40.
Alongside his club achievements, Davis has represented county age-group sides and earned selection for the Oxfordshire County Cricket Club 2nd XI, highlighting his continued progression within the county pathway.
Away from cricket, Archie works as a builder and also has experience as a groundsman. He would be keen to use these practical skills to contribute to his club while overseas. Archie will be travelling with his partner for the season.
Archie is now looking forward to heading overseas after signing with Coffs Colts CC.
