Archie Johnston is an impressive keeper/batsman from Northern Ireland.
Johnstone is a consistent and reliable Wicket keeper and fluent middle order batsman, who was part of the Ireland 19s set up a couple of years back.
Coming through the Irish Pathway system with consistent performances for club and county, he is also a part of the Emerging Knights squad for the last 2 years. Archie now plays his cricket in Wales with Cardiff Metropolitan University and Port Talbot Town Cricket Club where with performances with the bat and the gloves earnt him a spot in the Wales Minor County Squad to play against Warwickshire.
Archie is now looking to progress on the back of last season by improving his overall game to break into the Minor County Squad full time and when he returns home, earn a place in the Northern Knights Squad and make his List A debut. The gloveman is also a UKCC Level 1 coach and keen to be part of a clubs coaching structure when in Australia. No doubt a good signing for any club seeking a promising keeper/bat for 2024/25.
