He made his senior debut for Morley CC at just 13 years of age and has continued to develop through every level of the game. In 2023, Bailey earned a place at the prestigious Yorkshire Cricket College at Headingley, where two years of elite coaching, world-class facilities and a strong emphasis on strength and conditioning have further refined his skills. During his time at the college, he completed an NCFE Level 3 qualification in Sport and was invited to bowl against the Yorkshire Women's team, reflecting the high regard in which his abilities are held.
Last winter, Bailey gained valuable overseas experience with Pascoe Vale Cricket Club in Melbourne's VTCA competition. He claimed 18 wickets at an average of 23 while also contributing important runs in the middle and lower order, adapting quickly to Australian conditions and proving himself in a competitive environment.
