Banroj Sidhu is a promising young all-rounder from Hamilton, New Zealand.
A talented spin bowling all-rounder, the 20-year-old is a product of the Northern District Junior set up and has represented his District as both U17 and U19 level. Now playing for Morrinsville Piako in the Waikato Valley Premier Men's Competition, he is a key member of the clubs first grade XI.
Unfortunately due to his representative exploits, Banroj is deemed a 'Pathway' player restricting him to options in the EU only. An aggressive right-handed middle-order batter, the 'Kiwi' also bowls right-arm off-spin as his main skill. Generating both turn and bounce, the former ND U19 player is a superb operator with the ball in hand, often bowling long spells.
Seeking his first stint in the Northern Hemisphere, the Hamilton based New Zealander has impressive credentials behind him at a young age, and we certainly see Banroj as a player that will be in high demand.
