Ben Moffat (21) is a talented top order batsman and wicket keeper from Berkshire, UK.
Moffat has been a part of Premier League cricket since the age of 15, having represented both Radlett Cricket Club (Hertfordshire Premier League) and Finchampstead Cricket Club (Home Counties Premier League). Whilst at Finchampstead, he was a key player, opening the batting and amassing over 1000 Premier league runs in his time there, the highlight being a quality 108 whilst opening the batting against a strong Slough CC side featuring the likes of Northants CCC professional Saif Zaib.
Most recently, Moffat has been recruited to Bradford and Bingley CC in the prestigious Bradford Premier League to play the 2025 summer and is looking forward to showing his talents in one of the strongest leagues in the UK.
The Englishman has been a part of the Berkshire County Cricket Club set up since the age of 10, playing all the way through the academy and making countless 2XI appearances since the age of 16, a sign of the quality the young man has. Having moved up north to Leeds for University, Moffat captained the Leeds Beckett University first team to the semi final of the national competition in his second year at Uni, opening the batting and keeping throughout.
Moffat has also completed a season in Cape Town in 2021/22, playing for Claremont 1XI in the Cape Town Premier League aged 18. During this time, he also represented the Gary Kirsten Cricket Academy, performing well against the Western Province Academy, as well as Stellenbosch University.
Looking to experience a season in Australia, Moffat brings genuine all round skills to the table and would be an asset both on and off the field. He is a keen clubman and this along with his clear cricketing ability makes him a stand out option for the coming season.
