Billy Taylor is an exciting wicket-keeper and opening batsman for Helston CC in the Cornwall Premier League and continually pushes for selection in the Cornwall Minor Counties squad.
Since Billy made his debut for Helston CC 1st XI in 2020 aged 14 he has gone on to make 71 appearances for them. Having cemented his place in the side during the summer of 2021. Having played all of his cricket at Helston, Billy has captained each junior side and also has taken the u13s and u15s to County Champions. During his youth Billy has also played for all of the Cornwall age groups from u10s to u18s, during his final year playing for Cornwall he was also named as Captain. Since then he has also played for the Cornwall 2nd XI side and during last summer made debut for Cornwall CCC.
During his time at Helston he has won the outstanding u18 4 years in a row and was Helston 1st XI top run scorer during the 2024 season. He was also in the Top 10 dismissals in all Cornwall Leagues for the 2024 season as well as having the most Dismissals at Helston.
Billy has also recently completed his ECB level 2 coaching course and is hoping to expand his coaching experience while overseas.
