Bismillah Khan is a wicket-keeper batter who has graced Pakistan’s domestic circuit for well over a decade.

Since his first-class debut for Quetta in 2009/10, Khan has gone on to play 265 matches across the three formats. During this period, he has notched up 7,900 runs, with 8 centuries, 46 fifties, and averages nudging 30 in the first-class, and List A formats, respectively.

Throughout his illustrious career, Khan has represented a host of domestic sides, and won his fair share of trophies, including the Pakistan Cup, Kashmir Premier League, and has been a 3-time Pakistan Super League finalist.

In recent years, he has played in the President’s Trophy Grade 1 (FC) for Water and Power Development Authority, alongside the likes of international stars Ahmed Shehzad, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Umar Akmal.

He has enjoyed success throughout his career, but his first-class numbers have been on the rise since COVID, with season tallies of 327 runs at 32.70 (2020/21), and 559 runs at 46.58 (201/22), with 3 centuries during this period.

The veteran Pakistani gloveman is now eager to return to Northern shores in 2024, following his all too brief stint with Burslem back in 2022. Khan only managed a handful of games with his arrival severally impacted by visa delays owing to the Ukrainian war.

A high-class performer, Khan has his documents in order and is ready to commit to a club very quickly ahead of the 2024 season.
