Corey Chantrill (21) is a highly talented batting all-rounder (seam) from Leicestershire, England.
The Englishman is a fluent right handed top order batter and more than handy medium pacer who plays his cricket in the Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket League for Shepshed Cricket Club, where he has played since a youngster and is fast approaching 100 games for the 1st XI.
In 2024 Chantrill has racked up over 650 runs for the 1st XI at an average of 35 with a high score of 139 not out, alongside 4 half centuries. The talented batter has also take nearly 50 wickets for the 1st XI at 23, so has the capability to offer something with the ball also. A product of the Leicestershire academy Corey played 2 seasons with the U17s and U18s playing alongside England Leg Spinner Rehan Ahmed.
The Englishman is no stranger to Aussie shores either having spent 2 seasons in Queensland for Cugden Cricket Club where he impressed with nearly 1000 runs at 27. Corey again ventured to the Southern Hemisphere for the 2024/25 season, playing for Leschenault Cricket Club in Western Australia, racking up nearly 500 runs at 27.
Chantrill is also a qualified UKCC Level 2 coach and has coached full time in schools and also at his club in the UK; and is now seeking a new challenge ahead of the 2025/26 AUS/NZ Summer.
