Daniel Lloyd (25) is a genuine all rounder cricketer(spin), from Shropshire, England.
Lloyd is a fluent left handed top order batter and impressive left arm finger spinner who has impressed at club level for a number of years and has been in/around the Shropshire CCC set up.
Batting in the top 3, amassing 450+ runs each season since 2017 (excluding the Covid-impacted season). Whilst collecting 290 1st XI wickets (43, 56 & 55 in the last three seasons respectively). Also, contributing 89 fielding dismissals for Wellington CC - a highly respected Shropshire Premier & Birmingham Premier League winning club.
Having quickly risen through the ranks at Wellington CC, Dan debuted for the 1st XI as a 14 year old in the Birmingham Premier League. He has been a mainstay of the side ever since, amassing 184 league appearances. In 2022, he was entrusted with the 1st XI captaincy - guiding the culture & infrastructure of a successful cricket club, culminating in an unprecedented treble winning 2023 season (including the club’s first National honour).
