Daniel Rawson is experienced left-arm spinner from Christchurch, New Zealand.

Currently living in Delft, South Holland, the 29-year-old has over 10 years of club experience for Christchurch Premier side, Riccarton. Taking over 400 wickets at an average of 15, the 'Kiwi' has dominated with the ball in hand throughout Christchurch in recent years.

During the 2023-2024 season, Daniel acted as Chairman of the Riccarton Cricket Club, leading the team to promotion from the Championship Grade to Premiership. He was also the club’s leading wicket-taker (51 wickets) during their successful campaign.

His team won both the Championship Grade 2-Day and 1-Day titles last season, following on from the 2022-2023 season where Daniel was named Player of the Year for Division 1. To highlight Rawons consistency, the tweaker was also the club’s top wicket-taker in the 2020-2021 & 2019-2020.

Daniel’s contributions go beyond just his on-field performances and in 2019-2020 he was recognized for his enthusiasm, loyalty, camaraderie, and leadership both on and off the field.

Additionally, Daniel was part of a high-performance cricket scholarship at Lincoln University between 2014 and 2016, significantly enhancing his university studies and sporting aspirations.

Keen to stay in Holland during the 2025 season (With his partner), the impressive 'SLA' is now available for the entire season and keen to look at all options. Daniel is also a NZC Level 2 umpire, as well as holding a NZC Level 1 coaching qualification.
