Dexter Trego (18) is a highly impressive batting all-rounder (seam) from Bristol, England.
Trego is the son of former England International Peter Trego and is current captain at the famous Millfield School and also Gloucestershire 18s. Dexter is a hard hitting right handed batter who bats top order with the white ball and more middle order with red ball. He also bowls with good pace and control with the ability to move it both ways and change his pace at the death.
The all-rounder is currently averaging over 50 with the bat for Millfield and has a high score this year of 102 not out, against a strong Cardiff Uni side. Trego also has a couple of half centuries for Gloucestershire 18s and picked up his wickets at less than than 20. The youngster has also represented Gloucestershire 2nd XI numerous times and has best figures of 6 for 39 and 5 for 15.
Trego has been on the Gloucestershire Academy for the last 3 years, and also went on the Senior mens pre season tour to South Africa. He is keen to make a living out the game and no keen to head to Melbourne this winter.
