Hales is a fluent right handed top order batter, and excellent gloveman who has been performing well in the Hertfordshire Cricket League for a number of years. The Englishman plays his cricket for Redbourn Cricket Club and has been one of the main reasons behind the sides success in recent years, to date he has over 5000 runs for the 1st XI side at an average of 33.

The batter has 9 hundreds for the 1st XI side, and has a National Village Cup Final hundred to his name at Lords where he scored 119 in a losing cause back in 2020. Due to his strong performances at club level Hales has been part of the Hertfordshire CCC NCCA/Development squads over the years. Hales is also a qualified coach, and has been coaching at the local private school the last few seasons which has effected his club availability.

The Englishman is now keen to head overseas and ideally take up a Player/Coach role for the coming season.
