Elandri Janse van Rensburg

Elandri Janse van Rensburg is a dynamic and hardworking all-rounder making a name for herself in South African women's cricket. Known for her aggressive middle-order batting, skilful seam bowling and fearless fielding, she brings energy and intent to every aspect of the game.

With the bat, Elandri thrives under pressure and looks to take the game forward with her naturally attacking style, while with the ball she provides a reliable seam option who can break partnerships and contribute in key moments. Her competitive mindset is matched by her dedication off the field—she is highly coachable, eager to learn and constantly pushing to elevate her game.

That drive has already taken her onto the international stage, where she represented South Africa at the inaugural ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup in 2023, gaining valuable experience against the world's best young players. She has also attended Proteas training camps, exposing her to high-performance environments and elite standards.

Domestically, Elandri has built broad experience across South African provincial cricket, having represented Limpopo, North West and Free State before adding Easterns and KwaZulu-Natal Coastal to her workload this season. Across 52 List A matches she has scored 977 runs at an average of 22.20, with a highest score of 92, and taken 30 wickets at an impressive average of 17.10, including best figures of 4–27. In the T20 format she has played 40 matches, scoring 482 runs at 20.08 with a top score of 48, and claiming 8 wickets, with best figures of 3–12.

She has already featured in eight matches at U19 World Cup level, giving her a taste of international competition, and she continues to grow with every opportunity. Her development has been especially evident in the UK, where across the 2025 and 2026 seasons at Beckenham she has scored 1,475 runs at an average of 44.70, including a career-best 134 not out, while also taking 30 wickets with best figures of 4–10. In 2025 she was outstanding for the Women's 1st XI, striking 853 runs at an eye-catching average of 142.17, and she has followed that up with a solid start to 2026, adding a further 440 runs and 8 wickets in her first 15 games before injury impacted her season.

Still early in her career, Elandri is steadily establishing herself as a genuine all-rounder with the skill set, work ethic and mindset to progress even further in the professional game.
