In 2025, Evander represented the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) at the Unisport Nationals Australia on the Sunshine Coast, helping his side secure the Silver Medal. He is also a proud member of the UTS Elite Athlete Program, balancing his academic pursuits with his growing cricketing career.
Before joining North Sydney, Evander enjoyed a strong four-year tenure at Sydney University Cricket Club (2021–2025), progressing through the ranks from AW Green Shield (U16) to Men’s 3rd Grade. During this period, he was named the Leading Wicket Taker in the AW Green Shield 2021/22 season for his side, claiming 11 wickets at an average of 18.45, and was twice honoured as the James Rodgers Medallist for Best Bowling Average at the club in consecutive seasons (2022/23 and 2023/24).
Now continuing his development in Sydney’s competitive grade structure, Evander remains focused on his long-term ambition — to play professional cricket within the next five years.
