George Wells is an experienced batting all-rounder from London, England.
Currently in his 9th season for Southern based club side Blackheath, George has churned out nearly four thousand runs for the Kent Cricket League - Premier Divison powerhouses.
An attacking and reliable right-handed top-order batter, Wells averaged 31.06 in 2022, and racked up 500 runs in his 16 innings. Known as one of the most consistent league performers in recent years, George also has an abundance of experience playing overseas.
He has enjoyed three previous stints down-under playing league cricket in Australia. His most recent winter in the Southern Hemisphere was back in 2015/16, turning out for Victorian side St Albans Cricket Club in the VTCA competition. In 15 innings he struck 512 runs at an average of 34.13, including a top score of 113, whilst also claiming 15 wickets at an average of under 20 with his handy right-arm medium pace.
George is now keen to explore options in Australia for next season.
