Muhammad Suleman

Hafiz Muhammad Suleman is an experienced left-arm spinner with extensive involvement across Pakistan's domestic circuit, and in 2026 he added a first UK season to a career that now spans two continents.

The left-arm tweaker made his First-Class debut for Lahore Ravi in 2013, going on to represent the Lahore setup under its later Blues and Eagles guises until 2015. That spell was the foundation of a First-Class career that, to date, has brought him 27 wickets at an average of 26.85 from 11 matches, with a best of 4/21 — figures built with the tactical awareness and resilience that have defined his bowling throughout.

After 2015, Suleman spent several years outside the First-Class structure, playing Pakistan Grade Two cricket, where he consistently dominated and stayed committed to his development. That persistence paid off with selection for Sahir Associates ahead of the 2025/26 season, and he has since made himself a key part of their bowling attack, remaining an active First-Class player through to his most recent appearance against Pakistan TV in February 2026.

Suleman has also tested himself overseas before, spending time in Sydney with NSW Premier Cricket side Blacktown Mounties. Initially named in Third Grade after the club had already secured its overseas professional, he took 9 wickets at an average of 18.44, with a best of 3/23, from five matches, and impressed enough that Blacktown Mounties were keen to retain him for their First Grade setup in future seasons. He chose instead to return to Pakistan to continue his First-Class career.

For his first taste of English club cricket, Suleman joined Bagnall Norton CC for the 2026 season, arriving highly recommended by Pakistan Test spinner Noman Ali and with accommodation already secured in Leamington Spa (CV31) — a detail that made him a particularly attractive signing for a club that might otherwise have had to arrange housing for an overseas player. He repaid that faith emphatically: 45 wickets at an average of 13.02, with a best of 4/23, to go with 580 runs at 44.62 including two half-centuries and a top score of 66 not out, establishing him as one of the standout overseas performers in the league this season.
