Hokaito Zhimomi is a veteran professional cricketer playing for Nagaland in Indian domestic cricket.
Since his first-class (Ranji Trophy) debut during the 2012/13 season, “Hokky” has played over 90 matches, has scored neigh on 2,000 runs and taken a few wickets with his left-arm spin.
Rolling back the years (2008), Hokky was part of Kolkata Knight Riders in the first edition of the Indian Premier League. He broke into first-class cricket in 2012/13 for Assam, before a lengthy absence from professional cricket. He returned to the domestic fold in 2018/19 for Nagaland and has since become an integral member of the squad.
In 2022/23, Hokky was skipper of the North East Zone in India’s Duldeep Trophy. He has, post COVID, been someone of a figure-head for Nagaland helping nurture the promising youngsters into the professional game.
Now the experienced campaigner is looking to head abroad, for what will be his first season overseas in 2025. Hokky is seeking a Player/Coach role and is someone that comes highly recommended by CricX star, and dominant UK pro, Chetan Bist as an exceptional option for any club next summer.
