Holly Topp

Holly Topp is a talented young wicket-keeper batter forging a promising career with Northern Districts, where she earned her maiden domestic contract for the 2022/23 season. Since making her List A debut in February 2020, she has played 68 matches across both 50-over and T20 formats, with her breakthrough coming in 2021/22. In the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield, she has scored 282 runs with a top score of 47, and with more opportunities at the top level, she is confident her returns will continue to grow. Following her Dream11 Super Smash debut in December 2021, Topp has been working hard to expand her power game and develop into a versatile, multi-dimensional cricketer.

Her ambitions extend to New Zealand development and national selection, with performances in both domestic and club cricket underpinning her push. Comfortable both with the gloves and in the outfield, she prides herself on her adaptability and fielding skills.

Topp’s maiden UK season came in 2023 with Ealing in the Middlesex Women’s Cricket League, where she excelled, scoring 469 runs at 52.11 and helping the club secure the Sheila Hill Competition title. She has since dominated in the Cheshire Women’s Cricket League for Lindow, piling up 1,135 runs at 63.06 over the past two seasons.

A committed coach as well as a player, Topp holds multiple coaching qualifications—recently completing her Advanced Development course (NZC Level 2 equivalent)—and is passionate about inspiring the next generation. Holder of a British passport, she is now weighing up her options for a UK return in 2026.
