Holly Topp

Holly Topp is a talented young wicket-keeper batter forging a promising career with Northern Districts, where she earned her maiden domestic contract for the 2022/23 season. She made her Women's List A debut in February 2020 and has developed into an accomplished gloveswoman, recording 27 catches and 29 stumpings across List A and T20 cricket through the 2024/25 season alone — a return that underlines just how central she is to Northern Districts' work behind the stumps. In the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield she has scored 519 runs at 19.22 with a top score of 51, and in the Dream11 Super Smash she has added 135 runs in the T20 format, with her returns continuing to grow as she gains more opportunities at the top level.

Her ambitions extend to New Zealand development and national selection, with performances in both domestic and club cricket underpinning her push. Comfortable both with the gloves and in the outfield, she prides herself on her adaptability and fielding skills.

Topp's maiden UK season came in 2023 with Ealing in the Middlesex Women's Cricket League, where she excelled, scoring 469 runs at 52.11 and helping the club secure the Sheila Hill Competition title. She has since become a mainstay at Lindow in the Cheshire Women's Cricket League, and 2026 was by far her best season yet — 999 runs at 62.44 across 23 matches, including three centuries and six fifties. Across four UK seasons combined, she has now piled up 3,058 runs at 49.32 for Lindow and Ealing.

A committed coach as well as a player, Topp holds multiple coaching qualifications — NZC Level 1, and more recently an Advanced Development course equivalent to NZC Level 2 — and is passionate about inspiring the next generation. Holder of a British passport, she made her fourth UK trip in 2026, and on that kind of form she's a player clubs will be keen to secure again.
