Jack Hammond is an exciting 22 year old wicket-keeper batter playing for J&G Meakin CC in the North Staffordshire and South Cheshire Premier League.
Hammonds impact both on and off the field culminated in him being named 1st XI Captain ahead of the 2024 season - the youngest captain in the league. The Englishman continues to improve year-on-year, scoring more than 750 runs at an average in excess of 30, in all competitions in the 2023 season. With the gloves he has more than 200 Premier League victims to date.
Hammond has developed a reputation for his game-changing fast scoring. His match winning ability is evident in the 4 major NSSCCL trophies he has won, and more recently his inclusion in the Staffordshire CCC Development XI and NSSCCL Premier League Select XI. Hammond has also collected 3 individual NSSCCL league wicket-keeping awards in his short career already. Highlighting his ability to effect games with either discipline.
Jack is keen to win more trophies with J&G Meakin, under his leadership, and wants to further his own development by spending the current off-season playing in Australia. The Pom is keen to be in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, he is open to playing just as a batter and also playing on Synthetic for the right club.
