Jacob Slator is a RH opening batsman who enjoys anchoring an innings and being able to go through the gears. He is currently 1st team captain at Bradford and Bingley CC who play in the strong ECB Bradford Premier League. Aged 21 he amassed over 1000 runs for the club in the 2024/25 season, at an average of 38.67.
This 2025 season so far Jacob has hit over 330 runs at an average of 49 in just the 8 games (including a 124 not out), progressing on a strong 2024 year.
Jacob has represented Yorkshire CCC throughout his junior career and has come all the way through their academy system.
With aspirations to play cricket in Australia this winter, with a view to developing his game to kick on to higher honours, he seeks a club within the Melbourne, Victoria region and is quite clearly a high quality signing for any club seeking a proven and hungry top order batter for the coming season.
