James Brehaut is an experienced left-arm seamer from Taunton with a strong cricketing background at both club and regional levels.
Relocating from Horsham CC to Taanton Deane CC in September 2023, he quickly made an impact in the West of England Premier League (WEPL) 2, taking 20 wickets in just 10 games for Taunton Deane CC. He has made a significant impact with the new ball in hand and has been a stand out performer in the Sussex and South Wales Premier Leagues for 5/6 years, using a mix of swing and seam to snare his wickets.
In addition to his playing career, James is also a passionate coach with two years of experience as a Performance Coach Cricket/Hockey at King's College Taunton as well as a ECB level 2 qualification.
James has also gained experience at the regional level, having played and trained with Wales Minor Counties in 2022/23. During his final year at Cardiff Met University, he played a key role in leading the Cardiff Met 1XI to a national championship. His aim is to become a mainstay at national counties level and is determined to keep improving his skills with this in mind.
Now seeking further overseas opportunities, James is excited to bring his playing experience, coaching background, and passion for the game to new challenges, aiming to contribute both on and off the field.
