James Dunn (18) is an exciting young seamer from Lancashire, England.
A right-arm quick, the 18-year-old bowls at good pace and is already making steps towards forging a professional career. Currently playing for Chorley Cricket Club in the Northern Premier League, the youngster has picked up 39 wickets across the 2022 & 2023 campaigns.
Also part of the Lancashire County Cricket Club pathway system, James has represented the County at both U19 & 2nd XI level. After impressing throughout the 2023 Summer, Dunn was rewarded with his 2nd XI debut back in July last year. Going on to play in 4 Four-Day fixtures so far, the seamer has a current best of 3/53 against Warwickshire.
Already posting impressive numbers in Club Cricket, the Lancastrian averages just 15.85 with the ball in senior games for Chorley and he will certainly expect to improve on these numbers as we move through the UK 2024 season.
Now seeking his first stint in the Southern Hemisphere at the end of the current summer, the youngster will be hoping to adapt to new conditions whilst working on all three facets of his game. James also holds an ECB Level 2 coaching badge, and is no doubt an exciting prospect for any club both on and off the field.
The talented Englishman has now signed for Old Students Cricket Club in the strong Cricket Shepparton comp for 2024/25.
