Jamshid Zadran is an extreme talent coming through the Afghanistan ranks.

Hailing from family steeped in cricketing heritage, with his cousin (Ibrahim Zadran) a former international T20 skipper, and Uncle (Noor Ali Zadran) a 76-cap international, the youngster is eager to tread similar footsteps and become an Afghanistan international himself.

The left-handed batter has made every post a winner so far, representing Afghanistan in 13 Youth ODI's including the Asia Cup, South Africa Tri-Nations, and ICC U19 World Cup (Jan 2024). Highlights during his U19 tenure included skippering the side in a World Cup warm-up against England, and his match-winning Asia Cup century (106*) against Nepal.

In recent years, whilst still in his late teens, Zadran has broken into professional cricket, initially for the Junior Champions in Afghanistan's List A tournament (May 2023), before his first-class debut in the Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament in September 2024. He impressed during the latter, in his 5 matches averaging early twenties with his maiden fifty (60) coming against Mah-e-Par Stars.

The talented youngster is now looking to progress in his career, and has part of his development has targeted a season playing in England. The Afghan benefits from accommodation with family in North East London (Walthamstow, E17 6BD) and is a player that we highly recommend ahead of the 2025 season.
