Joe Lowe is a talented leg-spin bowling all-rounder, originally from Lancashire, but now playing his cricket down south for Flitwick in the Hertfordshire League (Premier Division).
After successful stints in the Liverpool and District Premier Competition, he moved south and has spent six prolific seasons with Flitwick (2021-26) bagging 258 wickets at 18.91 alongside 1500 runs at 21 with the bat.
Over the past 5 seasons, his success at club level has generated representative honours, playing Minor County Cricket for Bedfordshire County Cricket Club in all 3 formats of the NCCA. Lowe has also enjoyed a productive stint abroad, when back in 2018/19 he impressed for Busselton Margaret River (WA) taking 31 wickets at 13.50 with an impressive economy of 3.5.
Lowe then spent playing for the famous St Albans Cricket Club in Christchurch Premier Cricket, in New Zealand. In his 1st year he took an amazing 48 wickets at 18 with 4 five wicket hauls, and on his return he followed that up with a further 23 wickets (Whilst captaining the side).
The Englishman then secured a return to Australia ahead of the 2024/25 season. Joe agreed to take up a 'Head Of Female Cricket' role at Subiaco Floreat in Western Australia whilst also playing a mixture of WACA 2nd Grade & 3rd Grade scoring 237 runs @ 29.63 & taking 33 wickets @ 18.15 across the Summer and was awarded the Player of the Season
Now looking to head back to Perth ahead of the 2026/27 season, Joe is clearly a fantastic option for any club both on & off the field.
