Playing for Tickhill Cricket Club in the highly regarded Yorkshire Southern Premier League, the slow-left-arm spinner has been an outstanding performer with the ball for a number of years.
Starting off in the Lincolnshire Premier League whilst studying, Court represented Louth Cricket Clubs in 2018 & 2019. Picking up 55 wickets across two seasons, Josh returned back to Tickhill ahead of the 2020 campaign.
Bowling accurately and using his change of pace to deceive batsman, Court has racked up nearly 180 wickets at an average of 21. His best season came in 2024, with the tweaker picking up 41 wickets averaging just 17.
Also a reliable right-handed middle-order batter, the 26-year-old has nearly 1000 runs for Tickhill 1st XI across all formats, recording a best of 72 during the 2024 season. Now seeking a stint in the Southern Hemisphere, the experienced and proven spinner will be in high demand for the 2025/26 AUS/NZ season.
