An impressive right-handed top-order batter, the 26-year-old currently plays Grade Cricket for Tasmanian based side, Glenorchy Cricket Club.
Over the last three season, Josh has also been a part of the Tasmania State 2nd XI squad and has represented them on numerous occasions. Currently Captain/Coach of Glenorchy, the Aussie keeper-bat formerly played for Ringwood CC in the Victoria Premier Competition after debuting for the club at the age of just 17.
During his time in Victoria, Hartill spent 4 years on the National pathways for Victoria U17 & U19 sides. A silky smooth gloveman with a solid technique, the right-hander is also an accomplished batter, currently averaging just under 50 for the 2024/25 season and boasting a top score of 116.
With over 9000 runs across all formats, Hartill is a highly respected character within Premier Cricket and has recently turned his attention to coaching the next generation. Josh holds a CA Level 2 qualification and is a valued member of his club both on and off the field.
Due to his Tasmania representative games, the Australian is only available for Clubs in either Holland or The Republic Of Ireland. In February 2025, Josh signed for Dutch side Dosti ahead of their Hoofdklasse Campaign. A standout performer, Hartill has topped the Leagues run charts, scoring an impressive 840 runs at an average 42. Along with 32 victims behind the stumps the Tasmanian has excelled.
Now seeking a return to the Northern Hemisphere in 2026, Josh has his sights set on a season in Ireland. He will be available for the entire campaign and no doubt will be in demand given his impressive credentials & recent form.
