Kanav Gambhir (20) is an extremely talented top-order batter from Auckland, New Zealand.
A classy right-hander, Kanav is an Indian born batsman currently playing club cricket in Auckland. Originally from Delhi, the 20-year-old is enjoying his first season playing for Eden Roskill in the Auckland Premier Grade Competition.
After achieving previous representative honours for Delhi U19's, Kanav has recently been called up to represent Auckland 'A' on the back of some stellar performances. Chalking up over 600 runs in just 15 innings for his new club side, the prospect has gone from strength to strength during the 2023/24 season.
Already notching up five half centuries and hundred on 'Kiwi' shores, the future star continues to impress. Also capable of bowling some tidy right-arm off-spin, the adopted Aucklander is no doubt one to watch over the coming seasons. Keen to gain more overseas experience, Gambhir is seeking his first stint in the EU, and is available for the entire 2024 season.
