Khayyam Khan is one of Pakistan’s most exciting young prospects, a gifted top-order batter and wicketkeeper who is already making a name for himself in the country’s first-class scene with Abbottabad.

From an early age, Khayyam was marked as a future star. His natural ability with the bat stood out on the domestic circuit, and in 2019, he earned selection for Pakistan U19, featuring in two ODIs against Sri Lanka alongside now-international names like Saim Ayub and Haider Ali. That early recognition has since been justified by his steady rise through the professional ranks.

Now firmly embedded in the first-class structure, Khayyam has wasted no time in showcasing his potential. Under the guidance of seasoned professional Khalid Usman, who speaks highly of his attitude and ability, Khayyam announced himself in style. In just his second game, he crafted a fluent, match-winning 96 against a strong Faisalabad bowling unit, guiding his side to a commanding 134-run victory. To date, in just seven first-class matches, he has accumulated 458 runs at an average of 41.63, a superb start that reflects both class and consistency.

Khayyam is a player with big ambitions—his sights are firmly set on representing Pakistan at the highest level. But alongside that dream, he is also eager to expand his cricketing experience overseas. Following a successful maiden season with Barkisland in the Drakes Huddersfield League in 2025, he’s now looking to return to the UK in 2026. He brings not only a calm head and a technically sound game, but also a professional mindset and a hunger to develop further.
