The Englishman is a fluent right handed middle/top order batter and front line right arm seamer. The all-rounder who originates from Cornwall, has been part of the Somerset County Cricket Club pathway system since the age of 11, and was inducted into the Academy in 2022, and also made his 2nd XI debut at the age of 16.
In 2024 Roberts was the 2nd leading wicket taker for the 2nd XI side in the 3 Day Championship with best figures of 5/24 and a high score with the bat of 82. The all-rounder was also part of ECB Super 4s in 2024, which is where the best 50 players in the UK at under 18s level. At club level Roberts plays in the West of England Premier League for Bridgewater Cricket Club, and in recent times represented his home county Cornwall in the NCCA.
The impressive Roberts is eager to make his mark in the game, and is no doubt a huge talent. He is now keen to spend the winter in Melbourne for the 2025/26 season.
