Kudzai Kelly Chigora is a right-arm medium-fast bowler from Mutare, Zimbabwe, who has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting young seam-bowling talents in Zimbabwean women's cricket. Raised in the Dangamvura suburb of Mutare, she came through Zimbabwe's underage structures with Zimbabwe Under-19 Women before progressing into domestic cricket with Mountaineers Women and representative honours with Zimbabwe A Women and the Zimbabwe Women High Performance XI, sides she has continued to turn out for alongside her senior international commitments.
Chigora made her full international debut for Zimbabwe Women in January 2024, playing her first One-Day International against Ireland Women in Harare on 18 January, before adding her Twenty20 International debut against the same opponents just over a week later, on 26 January. She has gone on to become a regular in the senior white-ball setup, taking 6 wickets in 7 ODIs at an average of 45.33, with best figures of 2 for 20, and 13 wickets in 13 T20Is at an average of 25.07.
Her career has already produced several standout bowling performances. Her best figures to date, 5 for 7, came in a Twenty20 tri-series against the United Arab Emirates alongside Namibia, bowling the UAE out for just 93. She has also picked up five-wicket hauls at domestic and representative level, including 5 for 25 for Mountaineers Women against Rhinos Women in a List A match, and 5 for 10 for a Zimbabwe Women High Performance XI against Brazil Women in June 2026, a performance that came alongside a Nyasha Gwanzura century as Zimbabwe ran out comfortable winners.
Chigora remains heavily involved with both the senior Zimbabwe Women setup and Zimbabwe's high-performance and A-team pathways, featuring in recent white-ball assignments against Pakistan Women, Rwanda, Malawi, Nigeria and Botswana through 2026.
