Lakshan Gamage (born 9 January 2001) is a Sri Lankan left handed middle order batsman and right arm medium fast bowler.
A genuine all-rounder, he has represented Sri Lanka at Under 19 level and competes in domestic and franchise cricket both locally and overseas.
Born in Ragama, Sri Lanka, Gamage was educated at St. Joseph's College, Colombo, a school noted for producing prominent international cricketers such as Angelo Mathews and Chaminda Vaas. He first gained recognition representing Sri Lanka at the Under-19 level, featuring in Youth Test matches and One Day Internationals.
Gamage made his domestic debut for Sri Lanka Army Sports Club in 2022 before moving to Burgher Recreation Club, where he has competed in Sri Lanka’s premier First-Class, List A, and Twenty20 tournaments. In franchise cricket, he was selected for the Galle Gladiators in the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
In limited-overs cricket, Gamage has demonstrated an aggressive batting approach, recording a strike rate above 140 in T20 competitions. As a bowler, he typically operates with a disciplined length, using skill and variation to snare his wickets.
