Laksitha Manasinghe is a high quality all rounder, widely regarded as one of the best in Sri Lanka.
A front line off spinner and left handed middle order batter, Laksitha has enjoyed a fine career to date, which has led to Sri Lanka 'A' team selection and a place in the Sri Lanka test squad. Now fully fit and back from an injury which held him back in 2025, Laksitha is a player with the ability to dominate in UK club cricket.
His first class record speaks for itself. He has taken 153 wickets with a best of 8/57 with the red ball in hand, at the time of writing. In 2023, Laksitha featured for the Sri Lanka 'A' team against the England Lions and South Africa 'A'. He took five wicket hauls in consecutive matches against South Africa and also claimed a five wicket haul against a strong England Lions team and unsuprisingly, his performances earned selection for the test squad not long after. Due to injury things have temporarily stalled for Laksitha but he is now fit and ready to hit the ground running and has targeted a season in the UK to sharpen his skills and test himself in new conditions.
