Lizzie Scott a 21 year old opening bowler from the North East of England.
Currently contracted with Durham County Cricket Club, Lizzie has developed a reputation as a fearsome new-ball bowler, her main weapon being an aggressive inswinger that poses a constant threat in both T20 and 50-over cricket.
Her talent has already been recognised on the biggest stages. Lizzie was part of the England Women’s U19 World Cup squad in 2023, before earning selection for the Oval Invincibles in The Hundred during both the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Now eager to further sharpen her skills and continue pushing for higher honours, Scott is targeting a season in the Southern Hemisphere for 2025/26 to test herself in new conditions and against different opposition.
Alongside her playing credentials, Lizzie is also a qualified ECB Level Two coach, passionate about passing on her knowledge and experience to the next generation. She is committed to immersing herself in her chosen Club’s coaching structure and becoming a valuable contributor both on and off the field.
No doubt an excellent signing for any Club looking to secure a marquee player for their Women’s section and wider Club environment next season.
