In 2019/20, he was crowned the U19 All Island “Best All-Rounder” before making his List A debut for Moors Sports Club in the 2021/22 season. A move to Sebastianites in 2022/23 proved pivotal, with a strong List A showing followed by an impressive first-class campaign in which he scored 505 runs at 36.07, including a superb 129, alongside steady wicket-taking contributions. He backed that up in 2023/24 with a further 181 runs at 45.25 in red-ball cricket.
De Zoysa’s all-round pedigree caught the attention of UK clubs, leading to a prolific stint with Wembdon in the 2024 West of England Premier League.
