Currently playing for Greerton Cricket Club, Luke graduated Tauranga Boys College at the end of 2023 after enjoying numerous successful seasons. Known for his ability to score quickly and consistently, the 18-year-old has already played representative Cricket for Northern Districts U19 & 'A' side.
A seriously talented batter, Luke has an aggressive style at the crease, not only winning games, but also putting immense pressure on opposition bowlers. Alongside his batting, Luke has been working hard on his right-arm off-spin, a craft he has recently taken up with great determination.
Scrimgeour's relentless dedication and hard work have earned him critical spots in squads such as the Bay of Plenty Men's and Northern Districts Academy. In 2022/23, he racked up over 600 runs across all Cricket, striking at over 100 throughout the season.
In 2023/24, the 'Kiwi' belted over 650 runs, averaging in the mid-thirties and again boasting a strike rate of over 120. Even more impressive, Scrimgeour had three hundreds throughout
last season, with all three coming for different representative sides.
Seeking his second stint in the Northern Hemisphere at the conclusion of his current home Summer, Scrimgeour is now available for the upcoming 2026 season.
