Mandy Mangru is an exceptional all-rounder who made her maiden West Indies T20I call-up for the Women's T20 World Cup in the UAE in October 2024. Since then, she has represented the Windies in 6 ODIs and 10 T20Is, remaining a regular in the squad — she toured England with West Indies in June 2026, playing at Cardiff against Australia and India, and played her most recent T20I as recently as June 2026 against Pakistan in Dublin.
This isn't Mangru's first taste of international cricket. She made her ODI debut against South Africa during the Windies' 2022 tour, and later that year produced one of the more dramatic call-ups in recent West Indies cricket: named as a reserve for the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand, she was drafted into the starting XI for the semi-final against Australia as a replacement for Afy Fletcher after Fletcher tested positive for COVID-19.
A genuine all-rounder, she bats in the top-to-middle order, keeps wicket, and bowls off-spin. Behind the stumps, she is renowned for her sharp reflexes, quick hands, and ability to execute crucial stumpings and catches under pressure. With the bat, she can both anchor an innings and accelerate aggressively when required.
