Marco de Kock (22) is an exceptional wicket-keeper batter from Bloemfontein, South Africa.

A dynamic wicket-keeper and an outstanding right-handed batter, the youngsters journey is already marked by numerous achievements and leadership roles. Marco represented Grey College 1st XI between 2016 to 2019, going on to captain his school side for the duration of the 2019 season. Marco has since continued his development, and is now an integral part of The University of Free State's MCC First Team.

A consistent performer, de Kock has represented Free State at various levels. After first gaining recognition at age 11, hek continued with the State age-group side until he was 19. Notably, the stumper his Free State Under 17’s side back in 2017-2018, going on to captained the Under 19’s in the 2019 Coca-Cola Khaya Majola week.

Marco's recent seasons have been spent turning out for Knights Cubs Under 19’s in 2020, before graduation into senior cricket for the Free State Colts from 2020 to the present day. Preferably an opening batsman, Marco's looks to occupy the crease and build his innings. Having the ability to shift gear when needed, the 'Saffa' averages over 50 during the current season.

Set to embark on his first stint in the Northern Hemisphere, the South African will join up with Dutch Club - Groen & Wit for their upcoming Hoofdklasse campaign in May.
