Mark Mclean (22), a highly talented spin bowling all-rounder from Kent, England.

A crafty left arm spinner and effective middle order batter, Mark made his way through county age groups at Kent CCC from the age of 13 to 16 and earned a place in the Kent CCC Academy set up due to his clear ability from a young age. His talent was clear for all to see and the Englishman made his breakthrough in Kent Premier League cricket at 15 years old taking 5/40 for Hartley CC.

Since, 2019 Mark has played for powerhouse club Tunbridge Wells CC in the strong Kent Premier League for the 1st team, and 2nd team in Division One. Mark was a key member of Tunbridge Wells National T20 winning campaign in 2021 taking 8 wickets across the competition with an economy of 5.47. Exposure to such a high level of club cricket has been key to his development, not many guys can say they have won a national title, and this achievement sits proudly on Marks CV. A frontline spinner, Mark should not be overlooked with bat in hand, with a career average of 25.07 and x4 hundreds to boot.

Mark also participated in Tunbridge Wells' European T10 campaign that saw them come 2nd in the competition, which features clubs from across the whole of Europe who have won their domestic T20 national competitions.. Since being at Cardiff University Mark captained the 2nd team for two years in a row taking 18 wickets at an average of 15.44. Mark continues to play a mixture of 1st and 2nd XI cricket, although the strength of the 2nd XI competition is high due to the strength of the club he is at. He is seeking a season down under to help continue his development as a cricketer and is seeking to fully immerse himself in club life both on and off the pitch. he would be an excellent pick for any club seeking a quality SLA who can chip in with good runs too.
