Martin Green is a highly skilful seam bowling all-rounder from Sussex, England.
Green is tall (6'4) front line right arm quick, who bowls with good pace and control, he is also a hard hitting middle to lower order batter who is capable of hitting a long ball. The Englishman is a product of the Sussex County Cricket Club pathway system, playing at various age group levels right up til Academy level.
The big quick has been at Chester University for the last 3 years, where he has just completed a Degree in Sport Psychology. Due to the change in location Green has being playing in the strong Cheshire County Cricket League for the famous Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Club (2022 & 2023), where he has taken 43 wickets at 26 with a best of 5 for 23 against powerhouses Nantwich Cricket Club.
The hit the deck quick has signed for Barrow Cricket Club for the 2024 season as UK Pro. Green is also a qualified coach and keen clubman, who dives into all aspects of club life.
Green has recently signed with South Caufield in the Cricket Southern Bayside competition.
