Max Rawson (25), a charismatic and enthusiastic batting all-rounder from West Yorkshire, England.
An exciting left-handed top-order batter and versatile bowling option, Rawson hones his craft for Booth Cricket Club in the Halifax Cricket League Premier Division, following a successful stint at his home club, Thornton Cricket Club.
Max has already scored over 500 runs at the midpoint of the 2025 season, with two centuries to his name, a strike rate nearing 90, and an average exceeding 35. With the ball, he’s chipped in with 11 wickets, despite a limited bowling role due to Booth's deep attack. A genuine all-round threat, Max bowls left-arm seam and has recently added left-arm orthodox spin to his arsenal—something he’s keen to develop further. He is also widely regarded as one of the top fielders in the league.
Off the field, Max is an ECB Level Two Coach and plays a key role at the Adil Rashid Cricket Academy, where he works closely alongside Adil and Amar Rashid. He is also part of the organising team for the World Junior League, co-owned by Adil Rashid.
In addition, Max serves as the Head Coach of the Junior Section at Stainland Cricket Club, where he was instrumental in launching their now thriving Women & Girls’ section. He is also the Lead Coach of the Halifax Cricket League Representative Side, bringing further valuable experience to his coaching portfolio. Max has previously coached at the highly respected Cricket Asylum in Sowerby Bridge.
Max is eager to immerse himself in a Club’s culture, both on and off the pitch. Known for his gregarious nature and infectious positivity, he is the type of character who uplifts those around him and thrives in team environments.
Now set on expanding his cricketing experience, Max is looking to base himself around Perth, Western Australia for the 2025/26 season.
No doubt a valuable addition for any Club looking to bring in a dynamic and committed all-rounder who can deliver both performance and leadership across all areas of the Club.
