The speedster has been one of the stars of Afghanistan's Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-Day Tournament in recent years, finishing as the 5th (15 wickets at 23.33), and 2nd (20 wickets at 17.75) leading wicket-taker during the past two editions (2021/22, 2022/23).

Playing for the star-studded Speen Ghar Region, Ibrahim has been an absolute stand-out in domestic cricket and has been rewarded with Afghanistan A selection over the years, playing against the likes of Zimbabwe, India, South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Oman (as recently as July 2023).
