Mohammad Arif is an explosive left handed top order batter who has mad quite an impact on the professional scene in Pakistan.
Long regarded as a gifted young cricketer, Mohammad's talents were recognised in 2017, with selection for Pakistan Under 19's where he played in the Asia Cup alongside household names such as Shaheen Shah Afridi. His talent as a youngster did not turn in to instant success and he had to work extremely hard at amateur level to finally earn his professional debut in T20 cricket in 2023. His first class and list a debuts were not far behind and in 2024 he had finally arrived at the professional level and has started to make quite an impact.
At the time of writing his list an average is an incredible 60.20. from his 7 games played he has already notched up x2 half centuries and x1 century in this format. This success has also transferred to the red ball, where he has already made x2 half centuries and x1 century from just 8 matches played. His talent is rare and he has every shot in the book, his career is only going to go from strength to strength.
He is also a very keen bowler and although his off spin has yet to see much usage in professional cricket, he is confident of fulfilling a role as a genuine all rounder in club cricket.
Mohammad comes recommended by several CricX clients who feel he has the perfect skill set to be a dominant UK professional. An exciting talent and a player we recommend highly.
