A highly skilled off spin bowler, he made his first-class debut for Colombo Cricket Club in the 2015–16 Premier League Tournament, followed by impressive introductions to both T20 and List A cricket for Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club in 2018, including a hat-trick on his T20 debut.
He has also been selected for the Sri Lanka A squad in 2018 for the West Indies tour to Sri Lanka and featured in the 2021 Lanka Premier League with the Colombo Stars.
