Neil Rock (22) is an up and coming Wicket-Keeper Batter from Dublin, Ireland.
A Left-Handed opening batter with a solid technique, Neil is one of the most talented youngsters to come out of the Ireland Academy in recent years. A former U19 international, Rock represented his Country at the U19 World Cup back in 2018 and averaged 40 for the tournament.
Since then Neil has progressed through the Ireland pathway and eventually made his senior international debut in a T20 fixture in August 2021 against Zimbabwe. The classy stumper has gone on to represent Ireland in 3 ODI's after his debut against the West Indies in January 2022, as well as playing in 14 T20I games to date.
Neil plays his provincial cricket for Northern Knights and currently averages 25.92 in the List A format. Rock has racked up 674 runs in the Interprovincial Cricket League, scoring 3 fifties and boasting a best of 81. A reliable and hard-working individual, the exciting young international has captained Ireland A and is a player of immense cricket knowledge.
After spending a previous winter in Western Australia, the 22-year-old stumper is keen to return to the Southern Hemisphere for the 2023/24 season. We certainly see this young star as a one to watch for the future, Neil will be a superb addition for his chosen club heading into the upcoming campaign.
